Competition - Design and name a firework

If you have children under 12, we’re offering them the chance to win £150 worth of Toys R' Us vouchers and to name and design the packaging for our newest firework for 2012. Watch the video on this page to get an idea of how the firework will look. We then want the kid's to come up with a unique name and a design for the packaging.

You can name the firework for how it looks, sounds, after yourself or whatever takes your fancy! Draw your design for the packaging on A4 size paper and you can scan it and send it to us using the form below, via email to competition@ghengisfireworks.co.uk or send it by post to the address below.

Once you have submitted your entry, we will upload the design to our site. The winner will be the entry with the most votes. Voting is really easy, you will need to get as many Facebook likes as possible to beat your competition.

There are three age categories: 0-3, 4-8 and 9-12 and each one has a prize of £150 worth of Toys R' Us vouchers, with one overall winner getting their firework designed.

Your finished entry must reach us no later 31st January 2012. Good luck!

Competition Rules

  1. Competition is only open to entrants aged 12 or under.
  2. Entry to the competition is restricted to one entry per child
  3. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries other than by a parent/guardian will be disqualified
  4. Please don't help your children - we want their totally original work!
  5. The competition is only open to UK residents
  6. Prizes can only be sent to a valid UK address
  7. Designs will be displayed online and the winner will be the design with the most Facebook Likes, Tweets and Google +1s
  8. The winners will be contacted by email
  9. The decision on the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
  10. The competition will run from 1st December 2011 until 31st January 2012.
  11. To enter the competition, you need to fill out the form and upload your design. Alternatively, you can email to competition@ghengisfireworks.co.uk or by post to:

    We'll then send you a link to your design online and you can get people voting.
  12. Entries must be A4 size.
  13. Your finished entry must reach us no later 31st January 2012. If for some reason your entry becomes lost or does not reach us in time, we cannot be held responsible.
  14. We cannot return the entries (sorry!)
