The British Pyrotechnists Association

The BPA promotes safe and responsible use of display fireworks and pyrotechnics by firework professionals, and in recent years has become the body representing the UK’s largest and most respected fireworks display organisers.

The Gunpowder Plot Society

The Gunpowder Plot Society aims to promote public awareness of the events that led to and surrounded the failed gunpowder treason of 5th November 1605.

Firle Bonfire Society

Firle Bonfire Society was re-formed in 1982 to encourage and promote traditional bonfire festivities in the village. Every October they hold an annual Bonfire Night with torchlit processions and fireworks display in commemoration of the discovery of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605. Firle also visit other Sussex Bonfire Celebrations during the outmeeting season including Lewes on Nov 5th.
