- Stand well back 25 METERS
- Never go back to a lit firework
- Never put fireworks in your pocket
- Never throw fireworks
- Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves
- Never give sparklers to a child under five
- Keep pets indoors
Fireworks are available all year round for any kind of celebration, as well as the traditional BONFIRE NIGHT and
New Year's Eve and advice is always on hand from us on any safety issues. However, we recommend that you take time to read through our "Please Respect Others" code before you use your fireworks.
Did you know that noisy fireworks can cause distress to -
- Young children
- Elderly people
- Pets
- Livestock?
We strongly advise that you - WARN EVERYONE!
Please still think of others, who may be upset by the noise and warn them first. Better still, invite them round!
Take time to think who would not like your firework display.
Is there elderly people close by or families with young children?
Is there a farm near you or people with pets?
Notify people in plenty of time that you are having a firework party - they may need to move animals.
Kick off your display so that it finishes before 11pm - after this time is very unsociable and can cause nnecessary discomfort when attacked by enraged sleepless parents..
Planning your display with others in mind will ensure that not only you, but everyone else will enjoy your display, and you won't wake up to floods of complaints the following day...
MANY THANKS
